Types of Cables for WD Hard Drives (USB 3.0)
- Standard USB 3.0 to SATA Cable
- Used for connecting internal WD HDD/SSD via a SATA interface to a USB 3.0 port.
- Often comes with an external power adapter for 3.5″ desktop drives.

- USB-C to USB 3.0 Adapter (For Newer WD Drives)
- Some newer WD drives (like My Passport Ultra) use USB-C.
